Yassmin V. Foster

I care about hard-to-tell stories. My work lives at the intersection of movement, sound, and text, creating spaces where truth can be questioned and reimagined. Rhythm and motion are at the heart of my practice, with movement as an accessible, powerful medium. I thrive on new writing, risk-taking, and shaking the ground. As a movement director, intimacy coordinator, and sound system practitioner, I bring over 20 years of interdisciplinary experience crafting bold, honest, and transformative physical storytelling for stage and screen.
