Pursuing a Career in Event Coordination, Planning, and Immersive Theatre: My Journey as a Stage Management and Events Graduate

Graduating with an upper 2:1 in Stage Management and Events has been a significant milestone in my academic journey. As I reflect on my time at university, I am filled with excitement and determination to embark on a career in event coordination, planning, or immersive theatre. In this blog post, I will share my passion for these fields and discuss the steps I am taking to achieve my professional goals.

Studying Stage Management and Events has allowed me to develop a unique skill set that combines creativity with meticulous organisation. As a stage manager, I have sharpened my ability to coordinate various aspects of a production, ensuring smooth execution and seamless collaboration among team members. This experience has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of attention to detail and effective communication.

One of my primary career aspirations is to work as an event coordinator. I am captivated by the idea of transforming ideas and concepts into memorable experiences. From corporate conferences to music festivals, I am drawn to the challenge of orchestrating every element to create a cohesive and impactful event. My stage management background has equipped me with the skills to handle logistics, manage budgets, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, making me well-suited for this role.

From developing event themes and selecting venues to managing vendors and overseeing timelines, I am eager to immerse myself in the planning process.
