Qian Yan [pronounced Chen Yen] is a UK & Singapore based theatre practitioner who graduated from Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s BA (Hons) Production Arts - Stage Management. She thoroughly enjoys stage managing but has a love for propping and design.  

Professional credits include:

Cabaret at The Kit Kat Club (Stage Management Work Placement), L'elisir D’amore at West Green Opera House (Assistant Stage Manager), Requiem for Change with David Glass Ensemble (Stage Manager & Show Caller). 

Guildhall credits include:

Antigone & Opera Makers (Props Supervisor), Dead Man Walking (Deputy Stage Manager), Urinetown the Musical (Assistant Stage Manager). 

Qian Yan has also been looking into the mental and emotional well being of practitioners in the arts industry, having created multiple decompression rooms for shows in Guildhall. She intends to further develop this alongside her own practice.
