Mengfei Liu is an Assistant Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Podcast Producer and sourdough lover. As a Chinese native who has lived in China New Zealand and the UK, Mengfei’s passion lies with celebrating different cultures, different people and developing niche stories.

In 2020, Mengfei started Toastie Podcast, an interview style podcast where she invites her creative friends to the platform to talk about their work and journey during the lockdown. With the training in Museum and Gallery Studies, she fell in love with theatre where things happen so much quicker and every day is different. Young Vic has been her home base where she has learned and grew. She has done roles like Stage Crew, Company Stage Manager, LX and Sound Operation. Mengfei is the Assistant Production Manager for the next main house show at the Young Vic.

Having been dipping her toes into Production Management. Mengfei is keen to moving into the world of Production Management and would love the opportunity to do so and do more Assistant Production Management work.

Mengfei studies Bachelor’s of Communications in Creative Industry Management in New Zealand and finished her Masters in Museum and Gallery Studies with Kingston University London.
