Kirsten Ho is a dancer and choreographer born in Scotland and raised in Hong Kong. Having trained at The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, London Studio Centre- University of the Arts London and The Ailey School (New York), Kirsten has worked with prolific choreographers and companies including Nutkhut’s Bollywood Steps (UK National Tour), The Box (New York), Muna Tseng Dance Projects (Jacob’s Pillow, USA) and H.T. Chen and Dancers (Joyce Theatre among others, USA), and has taught at many schools including the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. Her choreography has been performed in Hong Kong, across New York and in the UK (The Edinburgh Fringe Festival/One Dance UK).
Kirsten is based in London and continues to present high-energy dance works inspired by social and cultural values found in our modern society. Education and outreach is also at the heart of her career having worked with thousands of young people to promote Modern and Contemporary Dance as a source of physical expression and creative thinking.
