Gabrielle Robertson

Gaby is a freelance sound engineer specialising in theatre and radio. Gaby trained at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance graduating with a BA degree in Performance Sound in 2016.

From this she moved into radio, working on the BBC radio drama “Home Front” as a Studio Manager in the Mailbox Birmingham. During her time at the BBC, she created live sound effects in studio as well as curating spaces and sets for the actors to perform in. After working on numerous radio dramas for the BBC she moved into theatre, depping on a range of different  musicals and plays to gain experience and eventually opening West End shows.

Working in a variety of venues such as the National Theatre, The Palladium and The Kiln Theatre has given her a love and passion working backstage. She is currently Sound No3 at Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at the Apollo Theatre.
