Esmé Dann
Esmé Dann is a London-based wardrobe practitioner working across wardrobe management, costume supervision and costume design for theatre. She is a BA (Hons) Costume Design for Performance graduate from London College of Fashion.
Her wardrobe credits include Wardrobe Assistant on The Rivals at the Orange Tree Theatre, where she supported a 12-actor cast with daily laundry, repairs and costume maintenance, assisted with dressing, hair and make-up, and worked with delicate historical garments. This role included touring to the Theatre Royal Bath and Cambridge Arts Theatre. She also covered Wardrobe Manager on Reunion at the Kiln Theatre, running costume pre-sets, quick changes, laundry, maintenance and the get-out.
Esmé has worked as Costume Supervisor at Watford Palace Theatre on Sitting in Limbo, overseeing costume sourcing, fittings, alterations and documentation while working closely with the director and creative team, including basic wig styling and budget management.
Her costume design credits include Where the Leaves Fall for Youth Action Theatre and a ballet costume for the English National Ballet School. She also worked as the designer and maker for Wardrobe Refresh, the Filippo Berio fashion week label relaunch event, and has interned with Prangsta Costumiers. Esmé helped make costumes for the Rio Carnival Parade
with Padre Miguel Samba school. She will work as Wardrobe Manager on Manic Street Creature at the Kiln Theatre in March 2026.
