Starting her career as an Assistant Stage Manager Wardrobe and Wigs at Bernie Grants Arts Centre,  National Youth Theatre and Talawa, Mariama brings with her a background in fashion design with  knitwear studying at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion and property  management. 

Whilst working in property management Mariama worked as a trapeze artist and created costumes  for Static moves aerial company and the Swings Elvis’s.
