Amanda Ramasawmy
Amanda is a designer and visual artist who works across performance design and fine art filmmaking.
She also works extensively in the TV commercial and editorial sector as a props buyer and set dresser.
Recent credits as designer include Breathe With Me - Chats Palace, by their fruits - Theatre503 (2025 OFFIE winner - Design), Dismissed - Soho Theatre, My Brother’s Keeper - Theatre503 (Set & Costume Designer). As Associate Designer Slave Play - West End, The Seven Pomegranates Seeds - Rose Theatre, Mephisto: A Rhapsody - Gate Theatre (Assistant Designer).
As an artist Amanda has completed artist residencies in La Gomera, Mauritius and Toronto. She has created/exhibited work at LUX (London), Almanac (Italy), Barbican Centre, Art Night, Flat Time House, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Toronto Media Arts Centre.
Commercial clients include; BBC, ITV, Prada, Sainsbury’s, Selfridges, Vodafone, Cadbury’s, Another Magazine, JD Sports, Sky, Adidas and John Lewis.
